Rye Flour Roti |
Today I m here with a healthy breakfast/ Lunch recipe – Rye flour roti.
Rye is one of the most important cereal crops and this type of grass is grown extensively throughout the world.
All the health benefits commonly attributed to adding rye to your diet are the result of the nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and organic compounds that can be found in it. Some of these key components include manganese, copper, magnesium, phosphorous, B-complex vitamins, dietary fiber, and phenolic antioxidant compounds.
Using Rye flour promotes Weightloss, prevents gallstones, controls diabetes, improves digestion, boosts metabolism, lowers blood pressure and helps prevent cancer.
===== Ingredients =====
-Flour 250 g
(White flour 200 g, Rye flour 50 g)
-Sweetener 1/4 Tsp
-Warm water 180 ml
-Salt 1/4 Tsp
-Active dry yeast 1/4 Tsp
===== Recipe =====
In a bowl, Add sugar, yeast & warm water.Let activate yeast for about 5 minutes.
Put flour and salt into a large bowl and pour yeast mixture.
Mix until all dough come together.
Cover dough and keep to warm place(I keep inside of oven. just turn on the light)
Let rise until double in size about 50-60 minutes.
Stretch dough & cover dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, divide into 2 pieces.
Make the dough to flatten & fold 1/4 each side of dough,then fold in half.pinch the end of dough.
Place the dough seam side down on baking sheet.
Cover the dough(or spray some water) &let it rise until double in size for about 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, dust some flour on top of the dough & scoring.
Spray some water on top.
Preheat oven for 220°C or 425°F.
Bake for about 20-30 minutes.
